Tau or Pi?

Michael Hartl, a physicist thinks pi is not necessary, and that instead of using the diameter and circumference of a circle, that we should be using the radius, and getting the number Tau. The radius of a circle is used more frequently than the diameter. Should we celebrate "Tau day" on June 28?

Can you find a number in pi?

http://www.angio.net/pi/piquery

This is a great site which lets you search for any number for where it begins in pi.

Try searching for your phone number, your birthday, or any number you like!
As pi is infinite, and repeats in random order, every number sequence exists somewhere in its digits, but this search engine only searches for numbers in the first million digits.
